Mr Leonard at Cyprus
The documentary feature film “Mr. Leonard and the traveling cinema” – by Nikos Theodosiou – participates at the 3rd Lemesos International Documentary Film Festival and represents the only Greek entry.
The Festival will take place between the 6th and 10th of August 2008, and 14 films will be screened – most of which have won awards and distinctions from numerous international festivals and competitions.
“Mr Leonard and the travelling cinema” is a journey in the fantastic world of wondering cinema projectionists that run through the Greek rural areas bringing the magic of the 7th art to every village.
It’s an independent production that is supported by the Greek Film Center.
The film will be screened on Saturday 6th of August, at 20.30, at B Municipal Market (Theatro Ena).
The 3rd Lemesos International Documentary Film Festival that is organized by the Brave New Culture and is sponsored and supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus, functions as the main platform for presenting creative documentaries in Cyprus.
